Our director Emery Emery is not only a great freakin editor (he edited the fast-paced interview theatrical documentary The Aristocrats as well as many films since), he also knows how to get shows in front of the public. His latest documentary Gambler's Ballad (2018) is currently airing on Showtime, and has also directed other TV specials and TV movies. Our intent is for Science Friction to get commercial theatrical and cable releases, so Emery was the guy we went to.

Our film is important for public science literacy and critical thinking, so the more exposure it gets the better. In addition, it will have an educational role, so its initial production is being funded by charitable donations to retain the rights for educational use as we see fit.

Science Friction is a new documentary film that will expose faux documentaries and networks that misquote their science experts, and give the scientists a chance to clear the record.

Skeptoid Media is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, so all crowdfunding donations are fully tax deductible for U.S. taxpayers.
